Programs & Services

BAWC maintains the right of every person to live free of fear, as an autonomous individual.  To this end, the agency provides services, free-of-charge, that address the needs of victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Domestic Violence affects one out of every four families, according to the FBI.  It is not the victim's fault that he or she is being abused.

Please call BAWC if you answer "yes" to any of these questions:

Sexual Assault is a crime of power, humiliation, and violence.  Feelings of shock, disbelief, frustration, helplessness, and guilt are normal after an assault.  But it is important to never blame the victim.

BAWC offers individual and support group counseling for survivors of sexual assault, including rape, incest, and child sexual abuse.  Counseling is also available for family members of survivors.
