Planned Giving Options

In your lifetime, you have most likely been generous to many causes. They may have been charities that have made a difference in your life or the lives of those that you care about, or perhaps, their mission is one that you believe in and want to help support.

The most common planned gift is a bequest as indicated in a will.

Appreciated stocks and bonds are also excellent ways to give a gift, while saving on taxes that would normally be paid if the stock was sold instead of given to a charity.

By designating the Bay Area Women’s Center as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, a donor can make a significant gift in exchange for monthly premium payments.
