We invite you to join us for the 14th annual Wildly Gourmet Dinner & Wine Tasting, presented by Labadie Auto Company! ​​​The evening will feature a five-course meal created by local chefs paired with delicious wines. Enjoy our live and silent auctions and exciting raffles as we celebrate the recipient of the Alice & Jack Wirt Embodiment of Hope award.

Auction Donations
Have a business or skill you would like to promote while also supporting services for survivors of domestic and sexual violence? Consider donating an item to our silent and live auctions! Below are some ideas for great auction donations:
• An item that represents your business
• A gift basket filled with themed or business specific items
• A gift certificate to a local store or restaurant
• Tickets to a sporting, art, or entertainment event
• An overnight stay at a hotel or vacation rental
• Handmade items

Susan serves as Executive Assistant to the CEO at Dow Credit Union (DCU). DCU is a generous business, supporting several nonprofit agencies in our community. Susan often gets to share the good news of a DCU donation to agencies and even fills up her vehicle to take deliveries of needed items directly to benefitting agencies.

An entrepreneur and hard-working individual, Susan owns Pieces of Thyme, a quilt shop in Beaverton, and is a member of the Quirky Quilters Quilt Guild in Oscoda. Susan has organized groups of quilters to craft pillowcases and children’s quilts to donate to BAWC.
​
Susan prefers to work behind the scenes and accepting this award is a step out of her comfort zone. Her community minded focus is extraordinary and exemplifies the giving spirit of this award’s namesakes, making her the perfect award candidate.
